For veterinarian Kasey Hall, owning Murrayville Mixed Animal Clinic has been one of the single most rewarding accomplishments of her life.

“My favorite part is definitely getting to know my clients and their pets,” Hall told West Central Reporter. “They become like family. You know them as soon as they walk in the door and you can call them by name.”

Hall, who was born in Mississippi, started working under Dr. John Bourn at Bourn Veterinary Services in February 2012 and purchased the practice in December 2013, giving it a new moniker.

“I purchased Bourn Veterinary Services, now Murrayville Mixed Animal Clinic, because I became invested in the community and clients and wanted to continue practicing medicine there,” Hall said.

Murrayville Mixed Animal Clinic uses the latest advances in veterinarian technology and cares for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.

“Our goals at Murrayville Mixed Animal Clinic are to establish a partnership with clients to provide top-notch and personalized care to the area's large and small animals while also focusing on exceptional customer service,” Hall said. “My staff and I hope to inspire an environment where owners/clients feel comfortable bringing their pets and trust that those pets will receive exceptional care.”

Hall earned a bachelor’s degree in animal and dairy science from Mississippi State University, and a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Hall worked at a mixed animal practice in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

“I knew at 10 years old that I wanted to be a veterinarian after helping a local veterinarian repair a wound on a horse at the barn where I was boarding my horses,” Hall said.

When she’s not working, Hall enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, family, friends, five dogs and four horses. She hopes to start competing again in barrel racing in the near future.
