Jacksonville home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Jacksonville rose by $11,000 while total sales increased by 35.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,000 - a 15.3% increase over the $72,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Jacksonville in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Jacksonville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,809, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for May 2017.
