There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62311, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that the man was released in the Taylorville zip code. The 28-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for a property crime in 2016 when he was 26 years old.
