CARTHAGE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Hancock County Independence Day Parade, Festivities & Fireworks

Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 1.

Begin your Independence Day celebration with the Hancock County parade and festivities in the historic downtown district of Carthage! With the beautiful Hancock County Courthouse as the backdrop, viewers will enjoy fire trucks, marching bands, floats, novelty groups and much, much more! The 2019 parade theme is "Freedom! Farmer! Family! Friends!" After the parade, folks can relax in the shade on the courthouse lawn and enjoy live entertainment, kids' games, great food and multiple vendors! At dusk, another fantastic fireworks show on display near Illini West High School. Full schedule will be posted soon! Parade Registration Form available here.

VENDORS: If you wish to be a vendor during our activities on the 4th, you must complete and submit this Vendor Application Form!
