PUBLIC COMMENT

OLD BUSINESS

1.Consideration to approve the position of Lead Building and Property Maintenance Inspector with a Pay Grade 17 on the City of Macomb’s salary matrix.

This was discussed at last Monday night and final action will be in order.

2.Consideration to approve the Executive Session minutes to remain closed for City Council, Committee of the Whole and Sub Committees.

This was presented last Monday night and final action will be in order.

3.Consideration of an ordinance to amend the Municipal Code of the City of Macomb by the addition of Division 4, Sections 2-251 and 2-452 of Chapter 2, Imposing a Municipal Cannabis Retailers’ Occupation Tax and the amendment of Section 2-465 for Clarification.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading. A revised copy is attached for your review.

4.Consideration of an ordinance renewing an existing franchise and granting for a period of 20 years to Ameren Illinois, a Corporation, it’s successors and Assigns, the Franchise, Right Permission and Authority to construction, reconstruct, excavate for, place, remove, extend, maintain, and operate a gas utility system in the City of Macomb, County of McDonough and State of Illinois.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading and staff is asking for second reading to be waived since this has been discussed at committee. Final action will be in order.

NEW BUSINESS

1.Consideration of an ordinance to create a special event liquor license for the McDonough District Hospital Foundation’s annual Jingle ‘N Mingle event.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading and since this is an establishment annual event, staff is asking for second reading to be waived. A copy is attached for your review.

2.Consideration of an ordinance to authorize the rezoning of 1524 South Candy Lane in the one and one-half mile zoning buffer of the City of Macomb, McDonough County, from R-1 Residential to AG-1 Agricultural.

This ordinance will be presented for first reading. A copy is attached for your review.
