Meredosia home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Meredosia rose by $6,250 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $27,250 - a 29.8% increase over the $21,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Meredosia in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Meredosia for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $976, approximately 3.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
