Rushville home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Rushville rose by $2,250 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,250 - a 3% increase over the $76,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Rushville in 2016.

The median sales tax in Rushville for 2017 was $1,415. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,426. This marks an decrease of 0.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
