The Board of Education of Community Unit School District #2 of Scott and Morgan Counties met in Regular Session at 7:00 p.m. at the Superintendent’s Office at Bluffs School.
President, Gary Westermeyer, called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm with the following members answering roll call: Ben Quade, DeWayne Hart, Gary Westermeyer, Shelly Tweedy, April Coats, and Terry Kunkel.
Matt Smith was absent.
Zach Morrissey, Liz Alloway and Annie Smothers were present.
DeWayne Hart made the motion to approve consent agenda which included approval of minutes of previous meetings, monthly bills, financial reports, and payroll. Terry Kunkel seconded the motion. Shelly Tweedy representing the Athletic Committee updated the Board on the current drug testing policy being reviewed for potential approval.
Mr. Blankenship shared with the Board about the School Maintenance Grant, Superintendent Evaluations, lighting project, floors being done over Christmas break and the upcoming legislative roundtable.
Mr. Kuhlmann, reported on Christmas program, report cards, state testing and discipline.
