City of Barry issued the following announcement on May 9.
Next week, we will be hosting the Pike CEO Business Showcase online! Each student has made a video sharing about their business. Earlier in the year, the students had determined criteria around the class business pitch event and trade show to award $3,000 towards their future education and careers. With the need for social distancing, at this time we are unable to have our pitch event and trade show. In the CEO spirit of tackling obstacles and being creative, the Pike CEO Business Showcase was born. We will be asking everyone to vote on their favorite video starting next week! The students with the top three voted videos will be awarded $1,000 each.
The students have worked incredibly hard on their businesses and learned a great deal throughout their time in Pike CEO. These 20 individual businesses really exemplify their knowledge and skills. We hope that you will all take time to watch their videos and vote! Be on the lookout for a post next week sharing about how to watch the videos and vote.
