Hancock County EMS Director Search Committee met April 20.

Meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m.
Present: Janet Fleming, Mark Menn, Terrie Griffin. Mark Hanson entered the meeting at 10:00 a.m.
Purpose: To establish the direction of our Emergency Service for Hancock County.
The committee asked Terri Griffin if she would consider staying on as our director until end of Calendar year 2020. No, her plans on retirement are 6/30/20, but she would work as a consultant, with some type of deferred compensation, with limited hours, to assist with any conversion we pursue.
If the full board passes our recommendation to post notice for bid proposals for our EMS, we will need to move quickly. It is our wish to have States Attorney Rachel Mast prepare and submit the public notice for bids. Our committee would like the public notice published by April 27, 2020, with a deadline to respond by May 15, 2020, to Hancock County Board, P.O. Box 319, Carthage, IL 62321.
Our committee with the Health and Miscellaneous Committee will have a Special meeting on May 15, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. This is to review the bids, and a recommendation will be passed on to the full board on May 19, 2020.
