Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Schuyler County?

There were five offenders released on parole during the third quarter of 2019 that live in Schuyler County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Schuyler County were men. The median age of the parolees was 47. The youngest parolee was a 33-year-old man sentenced for a crime against one or more children in 2018, and the oldest was a 59-year-old man sentenced for a crime against one or more children in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brian Cano. He was convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2013 when he was 46 years old. He is now 54.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter of 2019 in each Schuyler County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
