Pleasant Plains Fire Protection District responded to 29 calls in 2018 - same as the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Pleasant Plains included 21 fires - five structure fires, six vehicle fires and 10 other fires.

In all, the department saw $198,000 in fire loss - or about $9,429 per fire.

The department also received eight false calls.

The Pleasant Plains Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $188,350 in 2018.
