Hamilton Fire District responded to 27 calls in 2018 - 42.1 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Hamilton included 22 fires - 12 structure fires, two vehicle fires and eight other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

The department also received four false calls.

The Hamilton Fire District had an annual budget of $18,316 in 2018.
