White Hall Volunteer Fire Department responded to 23 calls in 2018 - 43.9 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in White Hall included 22 fires - 10 structure fires, two vehicle fires and 10 other fires.

In all, the department saw $1,041,175 in fire loss - or about $47,326 per fire.

The department also received one false call.
