Bushnell-Prairie City Schools District 170 Board of Education met Sept. 16.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education met in a Regular Meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the High School LRC with the following members present: McCleery, Miller, Mendenhall, Oakman, Croxton, Kozicki, and Rodeffer. Absent: None

Public Comments: None

The Board reviewed the Consent Agenda.

Motion by Member Mendenhall seconded by Member Miller to approve the Consent Agenda which contained the following: Minutes of the August 19, 2020 Regular Meeting and Closed Session, Payment of Bills, Treasurer's Report and Investments, Federated Accounts, Manual and Void Checks and Imprest Ledgers. After a roll call vote motion carried as follows: Aye: McCleery, Miller, Mendenhall, Oakman, Croxton, Kozicki and Rodeffer Nay: None

Superintendent Dinger reported on remote learning and meals being delivered. IHSA sports were discussed.

Motion by Member Miller, seconded by Member Croxton to approve FY21 District Budget as presented. After a roll call vote motion carried as follows: Aye: McCleery, Miller, Mendenhall, Oakman, Croxton, Kozicki and Rodeffer Nay: None

The Board reviewed the modified board meeting calendar.

Motion by Member Mendenhall, seconded by Member Oakman to approve the modified board meeting calendar. After a voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.

Superintendent Dinger reported the District 6th date Enrollment was at 602 students.

Motion by Member Croxton, seconded by Member Mendenhall to adjourn to Executive Session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees. After a voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Member Oakman, seconded by Member Croxton to adjourn Executive Session and return to Open Session. After a voice vote, all in favor, motion carried.

Motion by Member Oakman, seconded by Member Croxton to adjourn the meeting.
