Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

ROLL CALL

PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

1. Proclamation for Big Brothers Big Sisters declaring January as Mentoring Month.

2. Presentation from Downtown Development Director Kristin Terry.

Annual report is attached for your review.

3. Discussion on an ordinance to create a Class P plus SS liquor license for Beeline Properties LLC d/b/a/ Beeline Mart Store #10608.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

4. Discussion on an ordinance to amend Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Macomb pertaining to residence requirements.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

5. Discussion on an ordinance to authorize the rezoning of 1525 and 1531 S. Johnson St., 235 West Grant St., 1218 Maple Avenue, and a part of Lot 2 of Hemp’s Addition, all located in the City of Macomb, McDonough County, from R-1 Single Family, R-2 Single Family Residential and R-4 Multiple Family to O/I Office/Institutional.

This ordinance had first reading last Monday night and further discussion is planned.

To consider information relative to:

a) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act.

b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act.

c) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act.

d)The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(6) of the Open Meetings Act.

e) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.
