City of Jacksonville issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
BLM JAX is passing out children’s books on February 27th from 11am-2pm at Our Town Books on the downtown square.
A table will be set up near the door. A book will be provided to children from ages 0-12. These books are written by black authors, some of which are about black history.
A bag of snacks will be included with the book.
Masks are required & all are welcome.
