McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee Met March 4.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

The McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee held their monthly meeting at 7:00  P.M. Committee Members present included Vice Chair Mike Cox, Lee Calvert, Eric Chapman, George Dixon, Craig  Foster, Rod McGrew, and Dick Marcott. Chair David Cortelyou was absent. Other persons in attendance: Dave  Cadwalader, Engineer Rick Walker, Patrick Stout, County Chair Scott Schwerer, Stacey Alexander, and County Board  Secretary Erica Wilmot.  

Vice Chair Mike Cox called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.  

Review Minutes from January 7, 2021 

Member McGrew moved with a second by Member Calvert to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a  voice vote.  

February Work Report 

Report given by Dave Cadwalader.  

Claims 

A Discussion was held regarding Equipment rental and MFT money. 

Member Foster moved with a second by Member Dixon to approve the claims submitted. Motion carried on a voice  vote. 

Other Business 

None. 

County Chair Comments 

County Chair Schwerer inquired about the salt supply. Engineer Rick Walker stated that we had used our contract with  salt left over. 

County Chair Schwerer informed the Committee that Lynette Cale has resigned effective March 18, 2021. County Chair Schwerer Informed the Committee that The Wind Farm continues to run with five lights. 

Adjourn 

Member McGrew moved with a second by Member Chapman to adjourn the meeting at 7:24 p.m. Motion carried on a  voice vote.
