McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee Met July 1.

The McDonough County Road and Bridge Committee held their monthly meeting at 7:00 P.M. Committee Members present included Chair Dave Cortelyou, Vice Chair Mike Cox, Lee Calvert, Eric Chapman, George Dixon, Rod McGrew, and Dick Marcott. Member absent was Craig Foster. Other persons in attendance: Dave Cadwalader, Rick Walker, Patrick Stout, County Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.
Chair Dave Cortelyou called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
Review Minutes from June 3, 2021
Member Chapman moved with a second by Member Calvert to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
Resolution for Improvement Under the Illinois Highway Code 18-00300-00-BR
Prior Resolution for Improvement Under the Illinois Highway Code 18-00300-00-BR was resigned and put on the proper IDOT form.
Bonus Pay
Engineer Walker informed the Committee that he would like the Highway Department Employees to receive Bonus Pay. Engineer Walker stated that he will take his request to the Finance Committee on July 14, 2021.
America Recovery Money
Engineer Walker stated that he would like a new furnace for ventilation. He also informed the Committee that he would like a new computer so they can work remotely.
Project Update
Engineer Walker informed the Committee that the South Oiling Crew is going to oil all roads for $.50 per gallon. He also stated that they have not started the Colmar Blacktop due to rain.
June Work Report
Report given by Dave Cadwalader.
Claims
Member McGrew moved with a second by Member Chapman to approve the claims submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.
