City of Macomb Committee of the Whole met Nov. 29.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

MEETING CALLED TO ORDER

ROLL CALL

PUBLIC COMMENTS – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks. Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

1. Discussion on an ordinance to authorize the rezoning of a portion of the Northeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 5 North, Range 2 West of the Fourth Principal Meridian, located within McDonough County, form AG to M-1 Light Industrial. POWER TO ACT.

This ordinance will be presented for second reading and final approval.

2. Discussion on Mandatory Vaccination, Testing and Face Covering policy for City of Macomb employees. POWER TO ACT.

This was discussed last Monday night and final action will be in order.

3. Discussion on the bid and tire lease agreement with Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC for the McDonough County Public Transportation Go West Fixed Route System.

Attached is a memo from Transit Director Lambert and a copy of the bid and agreement for your review.

4. Other business.

Executive Session

To consider information relative to:

a) Appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of an employee of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(1) of the Open Meetings Act.

b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(2) of the Open Meetings Act.

c) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(5) of the Open Meetings Act.

d)The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(6) of the Open Meetings Act.

e) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(11) of the Open Meetings Act.
