Report: Dallas School District spent $12,218 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Dallas Elementary School District 327 was up 9.4 percent from five years ago, according to the West Central Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Hancock County school district spent $11,167 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,218 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 186 to 193 students over the same period.

Dallas's spending in 2019-20 was 15.7 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
