Falling home prices in Nauvoo in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Nauvoo fell by $27,500 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $62,500 - a 30.6% decrease over the $90,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Nauvoo in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Nauvoo for 2018 was $2,210. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,203. This marks an increase of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.5%.
