Median home prices in Dallas City fell to $7,500 in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Dallas City fell by $7,400 while total sales increased by 125%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $7,500 - a 49.7% decrease over the $14,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Dallas City in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Dallas City for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,056, approximately 14.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
