Pricing for the median home in Nauvoo increased during the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Nauvoo rose by $20,000 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,500 - a 33.1% increase over the $60,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Nauvoo in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Nauvoo for 2019 was $2,240. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,210. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.8%.
