On Feb. 18, C. Thomas McCarthy sold their home at 402 Melrose St., S. Jacksonville to Tammy Longmeyer for $150,000.

In 2020, the property tax paid for this property was $2,257.40, which is 1.5% of the sale price of the home.

So far in February 2022, this is the only property that sold in South Jacksonville as of this publication.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, C. Thomas McCarthy (81) has been registered to vote since 2006 and has voted in at least nine primary elections, records show, including eight Democratic Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
