MDH Welcomes New Nurse Practitioners

McDonough District Hospital welcomes new staff members and announces a location change for a staff member.

Jessica Logan, FNP-C, is making the move from the Bushnell Family Practice to the MDH Convenience Clinic in Health Services Building 2. Logan, who joined MDH earlier this year and has filled in on occasion at the clinic, now begins a full-time schedule at the Convenience Clinic.

Sarah Skiles, FNP-C, returns to McDonough District Hospital, joining the Hospitalist program. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University. Prior to her return to MDH, Skiles worked for Meridian Health Plan and Signify Health as a Nurse Practitioner. She worked for several years at MDH in different departments in addition to two years at the McDonough County Health Department.

Jessica Thorman, FNP-C, joins Skiles in the Hospitalist program and also returns to McDonough District Hospital. She worked 12 years as a registered nurse at MDH in obstetrics and acute care. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing in 2019. Since then she worked for Reliant.MD Medical Associates and as a hospitalist at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

Michelle Sullivan, FNP-C, stays in Macomb and rejoins MDH. Most recently she worked at the primary care clinic inside DOT Foods in Mt. Sterling and at Western Illinois University Beu Health Center. Upon graduating with a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing she worked for the Western Illinois Correctional Center in Mt. Sterling and the Neurology & Sleep Clinic in West Burlington, Iowa. During her prior tenure at MDH, Sullivan worked as a float nurse for nine MDH Medical Group clinics.

Jennifer Lemaster, FNP-C, joins the MDH medical staff and will lead the Convenience Clinic operations at the MDH Monmouth Clinic. Lemaster earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing. Most recently she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Eagle View Community Health System in Oquawka. She also served as the Emergency Department Director at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg. Lemaster completed clinical hours at McDonough District Hospital in the MDH Family Clinic and MDH Pediatrics.

“We welcome Sarah, Jessica, Michelle, and Jennifer to the MDH family and look forward to additional new providers in the future as we continue our recruiting efforts,” said MDH Chief Medical Officer Edwin Card, MD.
