McDonough County Board ESDA & Claims Committee met Aug. 16.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

The ESDA & Claims Committee held its monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the McDonough County Courthouse, Courtroom 201. Committee Members present were Chair Dave Nissen, Vice Chair Julie Melvin, Larry Aurelio, Letha Clark, Ken Durkin, Joe Erlandson, Craig Foster, and Dick Marcott. Also present was Patrick Stout, County Board Chair Scott Schwerer, and County Clerk Gretchen DeJaynes.

Chair Nissen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Approval of July 19, 2022 Minutes

Member Durkin moved with a second by Member Foster to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

ESDA Director Report

No report.

Approval of Everbridge Quote

County Chair Schwerer discussed the Everbridge Quote. ESDA Director Edgar Rodriguez called in to discuss the renewal of the contract.

Member Erlandson moved with a second by Member Durkin, to approve the Everbridge Quote. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approval of Committee Claims

Member Marcott moved with a second by Member Clark, to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Approval of County Claims

Member Melvin moved with a second by Member Foster, to approve the claims as submitted. Motion carried on a voice vote.

Other

None.

County Board Chair Comments

County Chair Schwerer informed the Committee that two people from the architectural firm were at the Courthouse today. The Highway Department is working on the Blandinsville/Tennessee blacktop. Schwerer said that he has heard a lot of people have concerns about the CO2 pipeline.

Adjourn

Member Foster moved with a second by Member Aurelio to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Motion carried on a voice vote.
