Q2 2022 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Schuyler County?

There were three offenders living in Schuyler County released on parole during the second quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Central Reporter.

The data shows all of the released offenders in Schuyler County were men. The median age of the parolees was 54. The youngest parolee was a 41-year-old man sentenced for homicide in 2003, and the oldest was a 55-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 2001.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Christopher Keever. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2001 when he was 34 years old. He is now 55.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2022 in each Schuyler County.
