PUBLIC COMMENT – Citizens wishing to address the City Council on matters germane to the agenda of the meeting will be limited to Three (3) minutes and are asked to be brief and concise in making their remarks.

Comments submitted by mail or email will not be read aloud but a copy will be provided to each member of the Council and made a part of the minutes.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Consideration to adopt a Resolution of the City of Macomb Adopting Civility Pledge.

A copy of the resolution along with a pledge is attached. City Attorney Scalf will read the resolution into the records. Final action is in order.

2. Consideration to authorize awarding proposal for managing administrative services for the Vacant Building Registration Program, the (VBRP) to Milberg, Coleman, Bryson, Phillips, Grossman, PLLC (Milberg) to retain $100.00 per $250.00 registration fee collection.

3. Consideration to approve a month by month, one-year extension, with 30 days cancellation notice, with Herr Petroleum for gas/fuel purchases for the Transit and Public Works Departments.

4. Consideration to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Macomb and Hancock County to Promote Access to, And Availability of Public Transportation in Hancock County.

5. Consideration to approve a Joint Funding Agreement with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for Construction Work at Adams Street West of Charles Street to West of Johnson Street using ITEP Funds.

6. Consideration of a Resolution with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for reconstruction of Adams Street from Johnson Street to Charles Street, city share $234,850.00.

7. Consideration of An Ordinance to Create a Special Event Liquor License for the Macomb Arts Center’s Songs & Stories: An Evening with Jimmy, Hank and Johnny Event.

b) Collective Bargaining matters between the public body and its employees or representatives or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (2) of the Open Meetings Act.

c) Selection of a person to fill a public office, including a vacancy in a public office or the discipline, performance, or removal of the occupant of a public office, pursuant to Sec. 2(c)(3) of the Open Meetings Act.

d) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (5) of the Open Meetings Act.

e) The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (6) of the Open Meetings Act.

f) Pending or probable litigation, pursuant to Sec. 2(c) (11) of the Open Meetings Act.
