Jacksonville High School had the highest enrollment among Morgan County schools, welcoming 848 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 54.5% of them were boys, and 45.5% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 79.5% of the student body at Jacksonville High School.

Among the 19 schools in Morgan County, Jacksonville Middle School ranked second in enrollment with 691 students, while Eisenhower Elementary School welcomed 316 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

Jacksonville High School is a part of Jacksonville School District 117, which generally encompasses schools within Morgan County with its main office in Jacksonville.

In the previous school year, Jacksonville High School had the highest number of students among Morgan County schools.
