State Senator Steve McClure | Illinois General Assembly
State Senator Steve McClure (R-Springfield) has been recognized by the Illinois Manufacturers Association (IMA) as a “Champion of Manufacturing” for his ongoing support of pro-growth economic policies.
“It’s important to support our job-creators and policies that promote the growth of good-paying jobs,” said Senator McClure. “It’s an honor to once again be recognized for my support of pro-growth economic policies for the people of Illinois.”
The IMA, representing the manufacturing industry in Illinois, awards this title based on legislators' voting records on various bills relevant to the industry. According to their analysis, Senator McClure supported the industry's interests 81% of the time.
“Senator McClure is a strong supporter of manufacturers, advocating for measures that will strengthen investment and spur economic growth in our communities,” said IMA Vice President of Government Affairs Donovan Griffith. “We thank Senator McClure for standing with job creators as we work to build a more prosperous Illinois for generations to come.”
