The Western Illinois University (WIU) Women's Golf team is preparing to participate in the Coyote Creek Classic, scheduled for October 6 and 7 in Bartonville, Illinois. This follows their recent performance at the Big O Classic, where they secured a fourth-place finish, marking their best team result of the season.

Earlier this week, WIU recorded a score of 955 (+91) as a team. Olivia Kerr stood out with her performance, tying for eighth place with a score of +16. The Australian golfer has achieved five top-20 finishes during her time at WIU and has consistently placed in the top-20 in the last two tournaments.

The competition will include teams from Bradley, Green Bay, Evansville, Lindenwood, Oakland (MI), Northern Iowa, Southern Indiana, and Western Illinois.

The tournament will be held at Coyote Creek Golf Club. It is a par-72 course with a total yardage of 6,019. The event begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM on both days. Sunday will feature 36 holes of play while Monday will have 18 holes.

The starting lineup for WIU includes Olivia Kerr, Mia Scrimgeour, Abby Hunter, Gabriela Galindo Rubio, Sophia Thorne, and Cianna Law.
