Western Illinois University's men's golf team is set to participate in the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate tournament, taking place from March 18-19 at the Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Missouri. The course features a par 71 layout spanning 6,748 yards. This event will be a three-round tournament, with the first two rounds scheduled for the opening day and the final round on the second day.

In their previous outing at the ASU Spring Classic hosted by Alabama State, WIU finished fourth out of nine teams. Mateo Rascon led the team with a top-five finish, shooting a total of 154 (+10). Rascon managed three birdies in his first round and five in his second. Nathan Tillman also performed well, finishing tied for 15th with a score of 161 (+17).

The competition at Twin Oaks includes teams such as Austin Peay, Bradley, Drake, Evangel, Lindenwood, Missouri State, Northern Iowa, Omaha, Oral Roberts, SIU-Edwardsville, UT-Martin, and Wichita State.

WIU's starting lineup consists of Mateo Rascon in the lead position followed by Baptiste Labeyrie, David Ayala Mojica, Bayden Hubacher, Luke Lofgren and John Lishchynsky participating as an individual competitor.
