WIU Volleyball is set to continue its Ohio Valley Conference schedule with a two-game series against Southern Indiana. The matches are scheduled for next weekend at Western Hall, with the first game on Friday at 6:00 pm and the second on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
In conjunction with the games, WIU will host an Alumni Day on Saturday. Volleyball alumni are invited to attend the afternoon match and will be acknowledged during the event between sets two and three. Additionally, a reception with the team and coaching staff will follow.
"We are excited to welcome all Leatherneck Volleyball Alumni to campus as we honor them and their contributions to this program during this inaugural event!" stated Head Coach Dale Starr. "We look forward to meeting with our alumni, hearing their stories, and connecting the current program with them."
The Leathernecks currently hold a record of 4-2 in the OVC, placing them in a tie for third in the conference standings.
