There were 10 Black students enrolled in Brown County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Black students made up 1.5% of the 674 students in the county. They were the least represented ethnicity at the time.

Brown County Community Unit School District 1 was the only district in the county which enrolled Black students, welcoming 10 students in the 2022-23 school year.
