The Leatherneck Men's golf team concluded their first tournament of the spring season at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder Creek, Nevada. The team secured ninth place with a total score of +75.

Owen Howe led Western Illinois University (WIU) by finishing 35th overall with a score of +18. His best performance was in the second round, where he shot a 76 (+4), including two birdies and ten pars. The team's best collective performance also came in this round, achieving a score of +24.

Luke Lofgren followed Howe's lead, finishing in 43rd place with a score of +21. He managed to secure four birdies on the front nine during the second round, ending with an impressive front-nine score of 34 (-2).

Baptiste Labeyrie finished 47th with a score of +22, while Mateo Rascon and Nathan Tillman ended up with scores of +23 and +27 respectively.

The Leathernecks are scheduled to compete next at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate hosted by Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri, on March 17-18.
