Illinois State Representative Christopher Davidsmeyer | Representative Christopher "C.D" Davidsmeyer (R) 100th District
State Representative C.D. Davidsmeyer from Murrayville is hosting a photo contest for residents of the 100th District to update the decor in his Capitol office in Springfield. The contest is open to all ages, and participants are encouraged to capture images of places, objects, or events within the district.
Participants must submit their photos via email along with their first name, last name, mailing address, email address, and phone number. The 100th District covers parts of Adams, Brown, Calhoun, Greene, Jersey, Macoupin, Madison, Morgan, Pike, and Scott Counties.
“There are so many amazing places and cool events throughout the 100th District,” said Rep. Davidsmeyer. “Pick a local landmark, a festival, a farm, business, wildlife or anything that tells the story of our region. I can’t wait to continue to show off our district to the many visitors from around the state and nation!”
The contest will run through Summer 2025 with winners chosen at three intervals: June 15, July 1, and July 15. Selected photos will be framed and displayed in Rep. Davidsmeyer's Springfield office. Winners will also be invited to visit Springfield for a photo opportunity once their pictures are displayed.
