*City Treasurer Betsy Rench stated that she filed the final Arpa report. The City received $390,000 in 2020 and has been expended to water and sewer projects.
Consent Agenda
Ald. Norton made a motion to approve the consent agenda, which included the following items:
1. Approval of Minutes from April 21, 2025
2. Approve March Financial Report
3. Approve and Pay April bills

Ald. Norton made a motion to approve the following Employee Compensation.
- HI: Continue Premiums Cost Share @ 90/10%
- IMRF: Continue Current Support
- All Full-time Hourly Employees NOT governed by bargaining unit contracts to receive an increase of 6%
- Supervisors: To receive an Increase of 6%
- Crossing Guards: Increase of 6% up to $16.70/hr.
- ESDA Coordinator: To receive increase 6% up to $4450.00 /yr
- Animal Control Officer (ACO): Remain @ $6000.00 /yr
- Public Relations Position: Remain @ $3780.00 /yr
- Part-time Police Officers: To receive Increase of 6% up to $21.94 /hr.
- On Call phone from $125.00 to $150.00
- Budget Director: Increase to 11,250/yr, to match increase for Elected Officials
- FOP Contract Renewal – Increase of 6.0%/year x 3 years
- IBEW Clerical Contract Renewal – Increase of 6%/ year x 3-yr contract
All increases to take effect as of May 01, 2025

*Police Chief Hood stated that the May Play days went well.
*Jeff Rench with ESDA stated he is waiting on a report from testing the sirens.
Real Estate/Parks/Recreation
*Meals on Wheels Van needs replaced – tabled for now.
Economic Development
*Ald. Allen received a call about property on N. Jackson that is unsafe, she contacted Chief Hood.
Engineering
*Washington Street bids are due in on May 22, 2025

Ald. Norton made a motion to pass the Dangerous Dog Ordinance. Ald. Havens seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with the results as follows:

*Mayor Wilt thanked the City Crew for their help with the pole/car situation last week. While it Did happen after hours – that was no hill for a climber for our City Crews. They worked Diligently and some didn’t sleep enough. Thank you so much for the extra care you do for Bushnell, you all truly make a difference.
