The Western Illinois University baseball program has announced its annual golf outing will take place on Saturday, October 4, at the Harry Musatto Golf Course in Macomb.

The event is set to begin with registration and lunch at 10:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. After the round of golf, participants are invited to dinner and a social gathering.

Golfers will have the chance to interact with Leatherneck coaches, players, and fans throughout the day. Each attendee will receive an entry gift and be entered into prize drawings. The top foursome will win a Western Illinois University jersey, a complimentary round of golf, and a customized Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat. Entry fees are $125 per person or $500 per foursome. There are also opportunities for hole sponsorships.

Coach Davis commented on the importance of this year's event in light of changes within college athletics: "With the recent House v. NCAA Settlement, implementation of revenue-sharing and NIL deals we need your support more than ever to continue to grow and close the gap on our competition. Not only is this a great opportunity to support our Baseball Program but to spend a day on the course with your friends and our student athletes. Looking forward to seeing everyone in October!"

Those interested in sponsoring or paying by check can contact the baseball office at (502) 664-6140. Fans can also sign up online or view a printable brochure through provided links.
