Western Illinois women's tennis ends fall season with multiple wins at OVC Invitational

The Western Illinois University women's tennis team concluded its fall season with several victories at the OVC Fall Invitational.

In singles play, Chloe Routier secured a win over SIUE with scores of 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), and 1-0 (10-6). Richardlyne won her match against Lindenwood 6-3, 6-3. Mana Fawcett defeated Bryant with scores of 6-1, 6-3, and 1-0 (10-7). Jessica Hess overcame Tennessee State in a close contest, finishing 6-4, 6-7 (5-8), and 1-0 (12-10). Denver Johnson beat SEMO 6-2, 6-3, while Anna-Evelina Trush won against USI with scores of 6-0, 6-4. Maarja Leinstrep also notched a victory against SIUE after coming back from a first-set loss to win 1-6, 6-2, and 1-0 (10-5).

In doubles competition, Richardlyne Francis and Jessica Hess teamed up for a win over SIUE with a score of 6-3. The pair of Mana Fawcett and Nour Gueblaoui claimed two victories: one against Tennessee State and another against SEMO, both ending in 6-3.
