Keyana Cruse named OVC Offensive Player of the Week for volleyball performance

Keyana Cruse has been named the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement made by the conference on Monday.

Cruse played in all nine sets during Western Illinois University Leathernecks Women's Volleyball matches against UT Martin over the weekend. She recorded 41 kills with a hitting percentage of .274. Additionally, she tallied 37 digs and four sets. Over her career as a Leatherneck, Cruse has accumulated 1,175 kills and 1,089 digs.

She achieved a single-game high against UT Martin by reaching three kills in one set.

The Western Illinois University team is scheduled to play at home against the Eastern Illinois Panthers on October 14.
