Western Illinois University has released the 2025-26 nonconference schedule for its men's basketball team. The Leathernecks will play a series of games both at home and on the road as part of their preparations for conference play.

The season begins with a series of away games in November and December. Western Illinois will open on November 3 at Radford, then travel to Iowa on November 7, CSU Bakersfield on November 11, and California Baptist on November 14.

The team returns to Macomb later in November for four consecutive home games at Western Hall. They will host Coe College on November 17, Coastal Carolina on November 21, North Dakota on November 23, and St. Ambrose on November 30.

In December, the Leathernecks continue their nonconference slate with two road games—at Drake (December 3) and at North Dakota (December 10)—before concluding this portion of the schedule with a home game against Hannibal-LaGrange on December 13.

Head coach Chad Boudreau commented on the scheduling process: "We try to build a schedule that prepares us for the OVC, but the reality is we have to raise money through guarantee games. We'd love to play all Division 1 opponents, but that's not always possible. The non D1 games help us get home dates and keep our guys sharp as we keep building at Western Illinois."

Tickets for single games go on sale October 20th, while season tickets are already available. Previous season ticket holders can purchase from July 31 through October 14; sales open to the general public starting August 7. Combo tickets covering both men's and women's basketball are offered at $250 for reserved seating and $165 for general admission. For men's basketball only, reserved seats are $170 for the public and $115 for faculty or staff; general admission costs $115 or $60 respectively.

Children aged twelve and under can join Rocky's Kids Club for $25 per year, which includes free admission to regular season football and basketball games, a t-shirt, birthday shoutouts, and invitations to special events.

Fans can buy tickets online at GoLeathernecks.com/Tickets or by contacting the WIU Ticket Office by phone or in person at Western Hall.
