Freshman goalkeeper Jacob English made seven saves during the comeback.
Thursday’s game will be the sixth meeting between Western Illinois and Southern Indiana, with the all-time series currently tied at two wins each and one draw. Western Illinois won their last matchup in Macomb by a score of 2–0.
