The Brighton Memorial Library District Board of Trustees met March 10 to receive an anonymous donation and a gift in the memory of Jannie Bott.
The trustees also reviewed the February financial report; approved bills from the activity account in the amount of $5,402.96; hired Hannah Flannery to replace Diane Ford as librarian; and approved a motion to hire a part time/substitute librarian.
Brighton Memorial Library is a great source of information and recreation for those in the Southwestern CUSD No. 9 communities of Brighton, Shipman, Medora and Piasa.
