The Mt. Pulaski City Council met Nov. 6 to change the video game ordinance.

"The Mt. Pulaski City Council meets on the second and the fourth Tuesday of each month. The first meeting of the month is the regular voting session. The City Council will vote on items that have been previously discussed and also review and approve the City's Account Payable ledger."

The City Council meeting was called to order, Mayor Jim Fuhrer presided. Mayor Fuhrer led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The minutes from the previous meetings stand as presented.
Claims & Accounts: After a reading of the current bills, a motion was made by Alderman Neaville and seconded by Alderman Utterback to approve the bills as presented. All voting yea- the motion carried.

O Public Works Director, Matt Presswood: Absent - Mayor Fuhrer stated Matt left a public
works report in the Alderman’s mailbox at City Hall and if you have any questions contact Matt.
o City Treasurer, Jim Sutton: The deposits to date are $47,703.72
Old Business: City Attorney, Tom Van Hook suggested a change to the proposed Video Gaming Ordinance in section 3-10-7. A motion was made by Alderman Maxheimer and seconded Alderman Utterback to accept the Chapter 10 Video Gambling Ordinance that will come into effect January 2017 and accept the change Tom Van Hook suggested in section 3-10-7. All voting yea - the motion carried.
New Business: Richard Grafton with Estes Bridgewater & Ogden Certified Public Accounts presented and discussed the council with the annual Financial Report for the year ended May 31, 2016.
After a discuss on the 2016-2017 Tax Levy, a motion was made by Alderman Utterback and seconded by Alderman Maxheimer to accept the 2016-2017 Tax Levy. All voting yea - the motion carried. Alderman Neaville has been in contact with CCA Online about the company renting antenna Space on top of the water tower. The City could rent the antenna tower space for $100/month or possibly have free WiFiaround the square. A motion was made by Alderman Neaville and seconded by Alderman Utterback to allow Alderman Neaville permission to enter into a contract with CCA Online to rent the antenna tower space. All voting yea- the motion carried.
Mayor Fuhrer stated Taylorville has a machine that take nitrates out of the water supply and asked the council if anyone would be interested in going to look at it. Alderman Neaville and Bobell Stated they are interested in going.
Alderman Bobell read an e-mail he had received from Mike Tibbs an attorney with Miller Hall & Triggers Law Firm of a proposed time line to continue on with the development of the business district. Alderman Bobell just wanted to run this by the council and will reply back to Mr. Tibbs that we will go ahead with this proposed time line.

Executive Session: A motion was made by Alderman Neaville and seconded by Alderman Maxheimer to exit regular session and enter into executive session for 15 minutes to discuss 313 Buckles Drive
litigation update. All voting yea- the motion carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Neaville and seconded by Alderman Bobell to exit executive session and enter back into regular session. All voting yea- the motion carried.
Mayor Fuhrer stated after a discussion on the 313 Buckles Drive litigation update, no decision was made and City Attorney, Tom Van Hook will continue to pursue this matter of business.
With no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Alderman Neaville and seconded by Alderman Bobell to adjourn the meeting. All voting yea-the motion carried.
