The village of Godfrey Emergency Services and Disaster Agency met Dec. 19 to address emergency dispatch issues.

AGENDA 1. Roll Call: present were Chris Sichra, Laura Dixon, Chief Kambarian and William Catalano,
forming a quorum. Lt James Goeken was absent
2. Public Comments: Chief Kambarian and the ESDA Committee wanted to formally recognize
and commend Jim Lewis and the public works department for the incredible job they did during the ice storm over the weekend on Dec16-18th. The Fire Chief expressed gratitude from the fire protection district for all the salt spread on the aprons/approaches in front of both fire stations, and Chris had received lots of positive feedback from members of the community including seeing posts on social network sites commending Godfrey for its proactive approach to pretreating, when so many other surrounding communities did not act. Great Job Godfrey!!

5. Old Business:
A. Chris held a brief orientation/training session with Mayor McCormick on Tuesday Dec 6th
to familiarize the Mayor with the Madison County ARC-GIS Geographical Information System website, and how to quickly use the system to look up properties, satellite imagery, owners, jurisdictional boundaries, etc. to enhance situational awareness during a village crisis.
6. New Business:
B. Chief Kambarian brought up some 911 dispatch issues for Godfrey residents living near the
bluffs occasionally being routed through Missouri cell towers and concurrently the wrong dispatch center (in St Charles County or St Louis County), and the possibility Godfrey ESDA to develop a mailer or flyer. Chris has already developed & completed a 3 fold informational flyer and presented it to the committee for review, feedback & editing. The next step is to see that the flyers could be produced with village resources and how they
