Emergency Services –

Motion to allow Fire Chief to have Municipal Emergency Services (MES) repair the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SBCA) System at a cost of $2,211.38

Motion to forward the FY 2017/2018 Fire Department Budget to the Finance Committee

Motion to purchase four gas detection meters from AEC at a cost of $745.00

Motion to purchase a new dive boat from INMAR Marine Group at a cost of $7,600.00, with the City paying $3,000.00 towards the purchase

Motion to allow Police Chief to order a replacement commercial opener for the Sally Port Overhead Door from Springfield Overhead Doors Inc. at a cost of $1,250.00

Motion to allow Police Chief to have Global Technical Systems install two vandal resistant Call stations for the Police Department at a cost not to exceed $2,990.00

Motion to bid and/or advertise an Office Level II for the City Treasurer’s Office

Motion to allow the Lake Superintendent to obtain quote for the Dam and Locust Creek Inspection at Lake Taylorville

Motion to allow the Lake Superintendent to obtain quotes to spray the ditches along the Owaneco Blacktop

Motion to start the process to exchange city property with property owned by Pam McCarty

Motion to allow Lake Superintendent to purchase DVR from Wareham’s Security at a total Cost of $489.00

Water/Environmental –

Motion to allow Mayor Barry to forward service map and documentation to City Attorney Romano to review and get a contract signed with EJ Water

Motion to allow City Treasurer to enter into an agreement with ETS to allow the Water Department to accept credit card payments over the counter with a 2.25% surcharge fee and online with a 2.50% convenience fee, and to purchase two MagTek Encrypted card readers at $175.00 each

Motion to approve and/or ratify payment of bills ($698,172.38)

 Per subparagraph (g) of 5 ILCS 120/2.06, this portion of the City Council Meeting is reserved for any person wishing to address the Council on any relevant subject matters concerning the City. The Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/1 et seq.) mandates NO action shall be taken on subject matters not listed on the agenda, but the Council may direct staff to address the topic or refer the subject matter to a future Council and/or Committee Meeting. If anyone wishes to address the Council, please provide your name and address, limit your comments or presentation to three (3) minutes, and avoid repetitious comments.
