The price of local government: Village of Morton

The Village of Morton budget was $40.56 million for its 2015 fiscal year, or $6,232.45 per household.

That's a decrease of 9.3 percent from 2014, when the village spent $44.70 million, or $6,869.08 per household.

Morton has 6,508 households and a population of 16,525.
