Meredosia FPD responds to 18 fires in 2016

Meredosia Fire Protection District responded to 20 calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the West Central Reporter.

The calls in Meredosia included 18 fires - 12 structure fires and six other fires.

The department also received two false calls.
