Waverly Volunteer Fire Department responded to eight calls in 2016, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System obtained by the West Central Reporter.

The calls in Waverly included eight fires - three structure fires, one vehicle fire and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $50,000 in fire loss - or about $6,250 per fire.
